Join the National Advisory Council 

ELSO Inc. (Experience Life Science Outdoors) is launching a National Advisory Council to guide our expansion, strengthen our capital campaign, and deepen our community-rooted mission. We're seeking bold, equity-driven leaders from across the country to help us grow our impact and create pathways for the next generation of Black and Brown environmental leaders.

Nominations and onboarding are rolling and ongoing.

National Advisory Council members will:

  • Be Connectors: Leverage your personal & professional networks to open doors to funding, partnerships, and visibility.

  • Support Expansion: Advise on site evaluation, program milestones, and strategic growth plans.

  • Advance the Capital Campaign: Help raise funds and awareness for the ELSO Hub & Headquarters—our national home for Workforce Development, summer learning, maker space

Your Role as a Council Member

Subcommittees

Members select one subcommittee to serve on annually:

  • Operations : Site evaluation, sustainability alignment, volunteer and staffing strategy

  • Philanthropy & Capital Campaign : Major gifts strategy, donor cultivation, and campaign visibility
